UNI P-AlCu2.5MgSi Heat Treatments
- R: Full annealing at 390 - 420°C for 2 - 4 hours, slow cooling in oven (max 20°C/h until 200°C); TN: Water quenching (10 - 30°C) from 485 - 505°C, after preheating for 0.5 - 1 hour in salt-bath; natural ageing (max 50°C) for 120 hours; Hot working range: 300 - 460°C.
