CSN AlCu4Mg1 Heat Treatments


  • Annealing at 330 to 420°C, 1h to 6h, cool at 40°C to 60°C per hour to a temperature of 160°C to 200°C, then cooling in air; Solution annealing at 490 to 505°C and cooling in water of 20°C to 40°C. After cooling, in water to achieve desired mechanical properties up to 5 days at normal temperature (20°C); Thermoforming at 380 to 470°C;
