GB ZAlSi7MgA Heat Treatments
- The furnace temperature during solid solution treatment does not exceed 300°C and the temperature rise rate should be 100°C/h
T4: Solution treatment: heating at 530-540°C for 6-12h and cooling in water down to 60-100°C
T5: Solution treatment: heating at 530-540°C for 6-12h and cooling in water down to 60-100°C; Aging treatment: at room temperature minimum 8h and cooling in air or heating at 150-160°C for 2-12h and cooling in air.
T6: Solution treatment: heating at 530-540°C for 6-12h and cooling in water down to 60-100°C; Aging treatment: at room temperature minimum 8h and cooling in air or heating at 175-185°C for 3-8h and cooling in air.
