- Precipitation hardening, for all forms and diameter or distance between parallel surfaces <= 1.3 mm:
Heated at 427°C (800°F), held for 90 minutes.
Precipitation hardening, for all forms and 1.3 < diameter or distance between parallel surfaces <= 25 mm:
Heated at 454°C (850°F), held for 90 minutes.
Precipitation hardening, for all forms and diameter or distance between parallel surfaces > 25 mm:
Heated at 454°C (850°F), held for 120 minutes.
For rectangular bar, the thickness dimension applies.
