SAE ZK51A Heat Treatments
- Aging (precipitation heat treatment)
Temper T5 - artificial aging from the as-cast (F) condition. Heated for 8 hours at 425°F (218°C) or 12 hours at 350°F (177°C). Protective atmosphere is not required.
