SAE ZE41A Heat Treatments
- Aging (precipitation heat treatment)
Temper T5 - artificial aging from the as-cast (F) condition. Heated for 24 hours at 480°F (249°C) or 1-6 hours at 625°F (329°C). Protective atmosphere is not required.
