SAE HK31A Heat Treatments
- Solution heat treatment: heat to 1050°F ± 15 (565°C ± 8), hold at heat for not less than 2 hr, and cool in air. Precipitation heat treatment: heat to 400°F ± 10 (205°C ± 5), hold at heat for not less than 16 hr, and cool in air.
