SAE Ti-5Al-2Sn-2Zr-4Cr-4Mo Heat Treatments
- Solution heat treatment: Heat to 1475°F +/- 15°F, hold at heat for not less than 4 hours, and quench in water to room temperature. Aging: Heat to a temperature within the range 1100-1250°F, hold at the selected temperature within +/- 15°F for not less than 8 hours, and air cool to room temperature.
