SAE Ti-5Al-2.5Sn ELI Heat Treatments
- Annealed: 649° +/- 14°C for 2 hours, minimum.
- Annealed: Heating to a temperature within the range 704 - 899°C (1300 - 1650°F), holding at the selected temperature within ± 14°C (± 25°F) for a time commensurate with the thickness and the heating equipment and procedure used, and cooling.
Additionaly the product can meet mechanical properties requirements after being heated to 816 ± 14°C (1500 ± 25°F), held at heat for 20 minutes per 25 mm of thickness, cooled, and descaled.
