- Temper T5
Sand Castings
Precipitation Heat Treated at 99 ± 6°C (210 ± 10°F), 8 hours.
Permanent Mold Castings
Precipitation Heat Treated at 99 ± 6°C (210 ± 10°F), 10 hours. - Aging (precipitation heat treatment):
Condition before Aging F (as cast);
Aging at 99°C (210°F), soak time is 10 minimum hours;
Temper T5 after Aging.
Aging (precipitation heat treatment):
Condition before Aging F (as cast);
Aging at room temperature, soak time is 21 days minimum;
Temper T5 after Aging.
