B.S. L 53 Heat Treatments
- Heat at a temperature of 430 ± 5°C for not less than 8h. Quench in oil at a temperature not exceeding 160°C for not more than 1h. Cooling in the furnace to a temperature of 390 ± 5°C before quenching is permissible. Quench in oil at room temperature or cool in air.
