PROPRIETARY BE7182 Heat Treatments
- Austenitizing temperature: 890 - 910°C (1635 - 1670°F) and quenching in oil. Tempering after hardening is usually not required. A temper process at a range of 200 - 250°C (390 - 480°F) can be performed if there is a need to increase the yield point.
