- Recommendations for stress relieving and normalizing.
Stress relieving 550 - 600°C (target 580°C) 2 minutes/millimeter of thickness, however, 30 minutes minimum. Slow cooling in the furnace.
Normalizing 900 - 940°C (target 920°C) 1 minute/millimeter of thickness, however, 20 minutes minimum. Cooling in free air.
