PROPRIETARY SAF 3207 HD Heat Treatments
- Seamless tubes, pipes: Solution annealing: 1040-1140°C (1905-2085°F), rapid cooling in air, protective atmosphere or water.
For strips: If it is necessary to restore the duplex structure after fabrication, it should be done by solution annealing in a protective atmosphere at 1080 - 1150°C (1976 - 2102°F), followed by rapid cooling in air.
