ASME SA-859 Grade B Heat Treatments
- Double quenched and tempered (liquid quenched twice) by austenitizing twice at a temperature in the range of 870 to 940°C (1600 to 1725°F), and then precipitation hardened at a temperature in the range of 540 to 700°C (1000 to 1300°F) for a time to be determined by the manufacturer.
