GOST Class 8 Heat Treatments
- Normalization at a temperature of 900°С ± 15 °С. Normalization at a temperature of 790°С ± 15 °С, followed by tempering at a temperature of 565°С to 605°С. Quenching at a temperature of 800°С ± 15 °С, followed by tempering at a temperature of 565°С to 605°С. Only seamless pipes are subjected to quenching.
