GOST Class 1 Heat Treatments
- Normalization at a temperature not less than 815°C, can be followed by tempering; Normalization with deformation heating at a temperature of 845°C to 945°C, can be followed by tempering; Quenching at a temperature not less than 815°C followed by tempering. Tempering temperature at the discretion of the manufacturer; Only seamless pipes are subjected to quenching.
