GOST TP347H Heat Treatments


  • For cold-formed pipes: ≥ 1100°C, quenching in water or accelerated cooling by other means
    For hot-formed pipes: ≥ 1050°C, quenching in water or accelerated cooling by other means;
    Heat treatment at temperatures above 1065°C may impair their resistance to intercrystalline corrosion.
  • Seamless and welded cold formed pipes: Heating at minimum 1100°C, quenching in water or accelerated cooling by other means.
    Seamless and welded hot formed pipes: Heating at minimum 1050°C, quenching in water or accelerated cooling by other means.
