GOST S31726 Heat Treatments
- Annealed at > 1040°C, quenching in water or accelerated cooling by other means. The cooling rate must be sufficient to prevent re-deposition of carbides.
- Heated to > 1040°C, quenching with water or cooling by other means at a rate sufficient to ensure the required characteristics of the product.
