GOST 321H Heat Treatments
- Annealed at > 1040°C, quenching in water or accelerated cooling by other means.
Solution annealing at temperatures above 1065°C may degrade the intergranular corrosion resistance after further exposure to sensitizing conditions. At customer's request, solution annealing at high temperatures may be followed by re-annealing or stabilization at a lower temperature. - Cold-rolled: Heated to > 1095°C, quenching with water or cooling by other means at a rate sufficient to ensure the required characteristics of the product.
Hot-rolled: Heated to > 1050°C, quenching with water or cooling by other means at a rate sufficient to ensure the required characteristics of the product.
