DIN 1.4927 Heat Treatments
- Normalizing and tempering (+NT): 1060-1100°C, air cooling. Tempering: 750-790°C, air cooling. It may be necessary in the case of wall thickness T above 10 mm or T/D > 0.15 to apply quenching and tempering in order to achieve the intended structure and material properties.
