ASTM A 240 S31025 Heat Treatments
- Heat at 1150°C (2100°F), quenched in water or rapidly cooled by other means (acc. to ASTM A480/A480M).
After annealing, material shall be heat treated at 775°C (1425°F) ± 15°C (± 25°F) for 10 h ± 30 min and air cooled.
