- Hot forming at 1100-800°C, cooling in air.
Annealing (+A) at 750-850°C, cooling in air. - Solution annealed at 750 to 850°C - If heat treatment is carried out in a continuous furnace, the upper part of the range specified is usually preferred, or even exceeded;
Cooling in air - Cooling sufficiently rapidly in order to avoid precipitation
