ASTM A 688 S30416 Heat Treatments
- All finished straight tubing or straight tubing ready for U-bending shall be furnished in the solution-annealed condition. The annealing procedure, shall consist of heating the material to a minimum temperature of 1040°C (1900°F) followed by a rapid cooling to below 370°C (700°F).
