ASME SA-182 FNIC10 Heat Treatments
- After hot working, forgings shall be cooled to a temperature below 538°C (1000°F) prior to heat treating.
Solution treated and quenched at 1149 - 1177°C (2100 - 2150°F), liquid and rapid cooled.
Quenching cool below 260°C (500°F).
