- The heat treatment procedure shall consist of reheating the material to the minimum temperature of 1150°C, followed by quenching in water or rapidly cooled by other means as appropriate to meet the requirements of this specification.
- Austenitic stainless steel pipes/tubes are to be supplied in solution annealed condition. The heat treatment procedure shall consist of reheating the material to the minimum temperature of min. 1150°C, followed by quenching in water or rapidly cooled by other means as appropriate to meet the requirements of this specification.
