VdTÜV WEL-TEN 60 T Heat Treatments
- Hardening: Heating at 880 to 930°C, at least 10 min after reaching the temperature in the entire cross-section. Quenching in water.
Tempering: Heating at 600 to 650°C, at least 10 min after reaching the temperature in the entire cross-section. Cooling in water or air.
Stress relieving: Heating at 530 to 580°C, holding time 2 min per mm product thickness, at least 30 min. Cooling in the oven. In the case of multiple annealing or longer holding times, the manufacturer must be consulted.
