- Hardening and tempering
Hardening; austenitizing temperature: 820-870°C. Holding time at least 1 min/mm thickness, quenching in water.
Tempering: 590-640°C. Holding time according to DIN 17 014 at least 1 min/mm thickness, cooling in the oven/air.
