GOST T 10-15 Heat Treatments

  • Mode 1: For strips of Epstein samples from fully processed rolled stock - heating to a temperature of 800°C - 820°C with holding at this temperature from 2.5 to 10 minutes in a non-oxidizing atmosphere or with holding up to 3 minutes in air.

Mode 2: For circular twisted samples from fully processed rolled products - heating to a temperature of 750°C - 850°C with holding at this temperature from 1 to 4 hours in a non-oxidizing atmosphere (hydrogen, neutral gas, vacuum with a residual pressure not exceeding 13 Pa) with cooling at a rate of not more than 500°C / h to a temperature of 200°C.

Mode 3: For samples from cold-worked rolled stock - heating in vacuum with a residual pressure of no more than 1.3 Pa or in pure dry hydrogen with a dew point no higher than - 50°C to a temperature of 1100°C - 1150°C with exposure at this temperature for no more than 6 hours at a rate of no more than 200°C / h up to a temperature of 200°C.
