TGL 15 Cr 3 Heat Treatments

  • Normalized at 870-900°C.
    Blank hardened at 870-890°C, water quenched.
    Carburized at 900 - 950°C cooled in water or oil, warm bath at 180 - 250°C cooled in air; Hardened at 870 - 900°C, water or oil, warm bath at 180 - 250°C; Interannealed at 650 - 680°C, cooled in air or oven; Hardened at 770 - 800°C water or oil, warm bath at 180 - 250°C; Tempering annealed at 150 - 180°C.
