TGL 35 CrAl 6 Heat Treatments
- Hot working: 1050-850°C
Soft annealing: 680-720°C
Normalizing: 910-940°C
Hardening in water: 900-950°C
Hardening in oil: 900-950°C
Tempering: 580-650°C cooling in water or oil
Nitriding temperature: 500-550°C (gas), 560-580°C (bath)
Surface hardness after nitriding: ~900 HV5
