TGL 21 CrMoV 5.11 Heat Treatments
- Hot formed at 850 - 1100°C
Soft annealed at 680 - 740°C
Normalized at 920 - 960°C
Hardened at 920 - 960°C, cooled by oil; Tempered at 700 - 740°C
To reduce the embrittlement tendency in long-term use, the hardening temperature must not be exceeded and the tempering temperature must not fall below minimum.
