ASTM A 965 Grade F1925 Heat Treatments
- Solution annealed in the temperature range of 985 to 1040°C (1800 to 1900°F).
On completion of forging operations, the forgings shall be solution annealed and quenched in water, oil, or a polymer water solution until the forging(s) are below 260°C (500°F).
