TGL 18 CrNi 8 Heat Treatments
- Blank hardened at 850 - 870°C, oil quenched.
Carburized at 900 - 950°C cooled in water or oil, warm bath at 180 - 250°C, salt bath at 580 - 680°C cooled in air; Hardened at 840 - 870°C, water or oil, warm bath at 180 - 250°C; Interannealed at 630 - 650°C, cooled in air or oven; Hardened at 800 - 830°C water or oil, warm bath at 180 - 250°C; Tempering annealed at 170 - 210°C.
