ASME SA-182 F 93 Heat Treatments
- After hot working, forgings shall be cooled to a temperature below 538°C (1000°F) prior to heat treating.
Normalized at 1070 - 1170°C (1960 - 2140°F), air cooled.
Quenching cool below 200°C (385°F).
Tempered at 750 - 790°C (1380 - 1455°F).
