VdTÜV X15CrCoWMoVNbBN11-2-2 Heat Treatments
- Quenching and tempering: Hardened at 1070-1170°C, air cooled.
Tempered at 760-800°C, held for minimum 60 min (after the temperature is reached through entire cross-section), cooled in still air.
Hot forming should be carried out at 1100°C to 850°C. Hot forming operations such as forging and upsetting are conveniently carried out between 1100°C and 950°C.
