- Quenched and tempered: Quenched at 900 ± 10°C; tempered at 200 - 300°C, air cooled.
- Quenched in oil from 900 ± 10°C; Tempered at 200-300°C, air cooled.
Normalization at 900-950°C is allowed before quenching.
