ASTM A 336 Grade F91 Type 2 Heat Treatments
- The austenitizing temperature shall be in the range of 1040 - 1080°C (1900 - 1975°F). The rate of cooling from 900°C - 480°C (1650°F - 900°F) is no slower than 5°C/min (9°F/min)
The minimum tempering temperature shall be 730 - 800°C (1350 - 1470°F).
