NB 06Cr18Ni11Nb Heat Treatments
- Forgings should be solid solution heat treatment and stabilization of the state of heat treatment delivery.
Solution heat treatment temperature should be 1050°C to 1150°C. Forgings should be water-quenched way for solution heat treatment. In order to ensure effective cooling, the following methods can be used:
Keep the forging in the water to keep rotating, or fix the forging in the forced circulation water.
Forgings should be 850°C to 870°C, holding time is 12h to 24h. During the stabilization heat treatment, forgings should be suspended vertically. After cooling, the cooling rate should not exceed 50°C/h until the temperature reaches 150°C - Solution treatment at 1050-1180°C and rapid cooled.
