ISO X6Ni7 Heat Treatments
- QT or QQT: Austenitized at 830-880°C, water or oil quenched. Tempered at 540-600°C, air cooled or water quenched. An intermediate heat treatment after quenching and before tempering may be applied as an option, with the following parameters: heating between 650°C to 720°C and quenching in water or oil
