ASME SA 213 Alloy 20 Heat Treatments
- Stabilization treatment; Austenitizing/Solutioning temperature 925 - 1010°C (1700 - 1850°F).
Quenched in water or rapidly cooled by other means, at a rate sufficient to prevent re-precipitation of carbides, as demonstrable by the capability of tubes, heat treated by either separate solution annealing or by direct quenching.
Cooling Media: water or other rapid cool.
