ASTM F3184 S31603-C Heat Treatments
- Hot isostatic pressing (HIP): Process components under inert atmosphere at not less than 100 MPa (14.5 ksi) within the range of 1120 to 1163°C (2050 to 2125°F); hold at the selected temperature within 614°C (625°F) for 240 6 60 min and cool under inert atmosphere to below 427°C (800°F), or to parameters agreed upon by the component supplier and purchaser.
