PROPRIETARY SIRAPID 3265 Heat Treatments
- Soft Annealing: Heat to 800 - 830°C, cool slowly in furnace. Stress Relieving: should be carried out by heating to 600 - 650°C, holding for one hour at heat, followed by air cooling. Hardening: Hard4en from a temperature of 1250 - 1280°C followed by salt bath or thermal quenching or warm bath approx. 550°C. Tempering: 550 - 590°C.
