PROPRIETARY SIHARD K572 Heat Treatments


  • Soft annealing: Heat to approx. 740°C, cool slowly. This will produce a maximum Brinell hardness of 270.
    Hardening: Harden from a temperature of 1060°C followed by air quenching. Hardness after quenching is min 60 HRC.
