PROPRIETARY SIHARD 2208 Heat Treatments
- Soft annealing: Heat to 680-720°C, cool slowly. This will produce a maximum Brinell hardness of 220.
Hardening: Harden from a temperature of 830-860°C followed by water quenching. Hardness after quenching is 52-55 HRC.
