PROPRIETARY SIQUAL 7325 Heat Treatments


  • Soft Annealing: Heat to 650 - 700°C, cool slowly. Intermediate annealing: 650 - 680°C. Carburizing: 900 - 950°C, water, oil or hot quenching 160 - 250°C. Core Hardening: 890 - 920°C. Surface Hardening: Harden from a temperature of 780 - 820°C followed by water or oil quenching. Tempering: 150 - 210°C.
