PROPRIETARY SIQUAL 2341 Heat Treatments
- Soft Annealing: Heat to 820 - 840°C, cool slowly in furnace. Intermediate Annealing: 600 - 630°C. Carburizing: 840 - 900°C. Hardening: Harden from a temperature of 840 - 900°C followed by oil or air quenching. Tempering: 200 - 250°C.
