GB A22609 Heat Treatments
- Quenching in oil: 840°C; Tempering: 490°C.
The heat treatment temperatures are allowed to be adjusted within the following ranges: Quenching: ± 50°C
Tempering: ± 30°C (according to the purchaser’s requirements)
Steel shall be subjected to the end-quench hardenability test: Normalizing at 860 to 900°C and End-quench at 840 ± 5°C.
