PROPRIETARY LA F53 Heat Treatments
- Soft annealing 850-900 °C in a controlled atmosphere for 3 hours, followed by slow cooling to 10 °C/h to 700 °C, air cooling. Annealing of stress relieving at 600 - 700 °C for 2 hours, then slow cooling to 500 °C. Austenitizing as graphic and tempering with cooling to 40 - 50 °C. 3 tempers of at least 1 hour at 560 °C, then cooled to room temperature (25 °C) between each temper.
