PROPRIETARY LA 2344 Heat Treatments
- Annealing 780°C
Quenching:
- preheating to 750°C,
- heating to 1030°C,
- quenching in hot oil, or in salt baths, or under gas pressure.
Tempering:
- two successive temperings,
- first temper at 500°C,
- second temper according to the hardness required,
- To obtain the maximum hardness, perform two tempering at 500°C.
